Our concept of sustainability (ESG)
Polidoro Group, the group Davhex belongs to, works on ESG sustainability: energy efficiency, workplace safety and people. Here is what we do, with the figures and documents behind it.
Independent assessment
Rated by EcoVadis: Bronze medal
Polidoro’s sustainability management has been assessed by EcoVadis, an independent sustainability rating platform. The Bronze medal was confirmed in August 2025. The rating refers to the company as a whole, not to individual products.

Environment
Using less energy, recovering what we can
At our sites we generate part of our energy, reuse process heat and size equipment on actual demand.
On-site energy
A 1 MW photovoltaic plant and a 420 kW cogenerator running on vegetable oil.
Heat recovery
Heat from the life-test chambers is recovered to heat the Research Center during the winter months.
Equipment sized on demand
Inverter-driven compressors and extraction systems adjust power to actual needs.
Lighting and production
Installed power for lighting and production reduced by 67% since 2017.
Water and materials
Non-potable water from the municipal network; lubricants that are not hazardous to the environment.
Packaging
Agreements with customers to recycle packaging containers, reducing the purchase of new ones.
Social
People, safety and community
The people who build our products are the first to shape how we work.
Inclusion
People management that considers gender, age, ethnic and racial origin, sexual orientation and gender identity, and disability. We hire young people locally and talent from European universities, with shared training alongside colleagues from our plants abroad.
Safety
Our occupational health and safety management system (SGSS, “Safe Work”) has been certified since 2014, with continuing investment in plants and equipment.
Training and growth
Ongoing training supports professional growth, teamwork and problem solving.
Local community
Collaboration with sports associations, including for people with disabilities, and support for local initiatives and volunteering.
