Last updated: 6 November 2026

This notice explains how personal data of users who visit polidorodavhex.com (“Polidoro Davhex”) or use it to contact us are processed, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

1. Data controller

The data controller is Polidoro s.p.a., Via Lago di Misurina 76, 36015 Schio (VI), Italy.
Email: privacy@polidoro.com

2. What data we process and why

a) Requests sent through the website forms (technical proposal request, sample request, compatibility or selection software request, contact). We process the data you provide: name, company, email address, application of interest, the content of your message, any sample request and the type of request. We use them to reply to and follow up on your request, including technical and commercial checks. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and, for business-to-business commercial enquiries, our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6.1.f). Providing the fields marked as required is necessary for us to reply; without them we cannot follow up on your request.

b) Website statistics. With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, managed through Google Tag Manager, to measure in aggregate form how the website is used (pages visited, origin, events such as form submissions, clicks on email and phone links, and downloads of catalogues and datasheets). Without your consent these tools are not activated. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

c) Technical browsing data. To operate and secure the website, our systems automatically collect some data (for example IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser type). Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and proper functioning of the website (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

d) Technical preferences. We use technical cookies to remember your chosen language and your cookie preferences. They do not require consent. See the Cookie Policy for details.

3. Recipients of the data

Data may be processed by providers of technical services (for example hosting, website maintenance, email), appointed as data processors where required, and by authorised Polidoro staff who answer requests. If you consent to statistics, usage data are also processed by Google. Data are not disclosed or sold.

4. Transfers outside the EU

Google may transfer usage data to the United States. The transfer relies on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, failing that, on standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

We keep request data for as long as necessary to follow up on it and to manage any resulting business relationship, and afterwards for the periods required by law. Statistical data are processed by Google according to the configured retention settings, and cookies last as indicated in the Cookie Policy.

6. Your rights

You may exercise at any time the rights provided by Articles 15-22 GDPR:

  • access to your personal data;
  • rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • erasure of your data;
  • restriction of processing;
  • data portability;
  • objection to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • withdrawal of consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise them write to privacy@polidoro.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

7. Changing your cookie consent

You can change or withdraw your cookie choices at any time using the consent management button available on the website.

8. Updates
